About

A Legacy Built on Performance and Innovation

Founded in England in 1983, Superchips was one of the first performance companies in the world to specialize in tuning vehicles equipped with computer-controlled fuel-injection systems. Initially serving the high-stakes British racing community with custom electronic solutions, Superchips quickly expanded its focus to deliver dyno-proven power to daily drivers, off-roaders, and automotive enthusiasts worldwide. Today, operating out of our headquarters in Ogden, Utah, Superchips builds and ships tens of thousands of handheld programmers, touchscreen monitors, and calibration tools every year.

Evolution, Strategic Growth, and Industry Leadership

To maintain our position at the forefront of modern automotive technology, Superchips has continuously evolved alongside the industry. In 2005, Superchips was acquired by MSD Performance before joining Powerteq LLC in 2011 alongside legendary performance tuning brands Edge Products and DiabloSport. This consolidation brought together some of the brightest engineering minds in North America, dedicated to perfecting gas and diesel vehicle calibration, transmission control, and user-friendly tuner interfaces.

Driven by the Power of Holley Performance Brands

In 2015, Powerteq LLC and its family of tuning brands became part of Holley Performance Brands. Marrying Holley’s legendary automotive heritage and deep technology resources with Powerteq’s talented engineering team ensures Superchips remains at the cutting edge of modern ECU architecture, wireless calibration, and late-model vehicle tuning. Whether you need to calibrate big tires on your Jeep, disable cylinder deactivation on your truck, or unleash extra horsepower on the highway, Superchips continues to define the future of automotive performance.
