The programs have not changed, in a long time.

Ron, could you post when they were changed and do you have the dyno sheets so I can see what the difference is? Or could you tell me the difference in the old compared to the newer verson.
Thanks

either way Ron, the program has been detuned and is at the point of disatisfaction with some if not many. Why would Superchips detune the programming? When I first bought the tuner the files that were on there were very impressive. What happended to those files Ron? What was so wrong with the original files Ron? Is Superchips detuning their programming so that the consumer will go out and fork another 600$ to buy the firefly since stacking is the popular thing and the flashpaq along with the firefly is the only stack Superchips is willing to endorse being both products are Superchips products? Pretty smart I will admit, but still pretty sh....ty on Superchips side. Anyways the original tune would be nice to have back in my truck if you Ron and Superchips would ever be so kind. :)

You Dodge guys amaze me.
Do you have any hard data that backs up your claim that the tune has less now than before? Dyno plots, anything?

It sounds like you have a case of "Got used to the power" and I need more.

Ron

Well, you support guys don't throw us a bone either. Why can't you answer my questions? Your the one that said 3 statements up that it hadn't been changed in a while, and I also have 2 Chevys and a Toyota, so what name are you going to call me now.

Ron,

Could you be so kind and at least tell us when SC last made changes to the tune?

The only changes have been to help take care of the surging, people were having a problem with.

I say that the tunes have NOT changed.

If you want to find out what changes have been to the tunes, check here.

Naaaaa I don't need more power, at first I was actually very impressed, and no I haven't gotten used to it don't feel like gimping my tranny any more than needed. The hard data, no don't have any dyno sheets thats something that is more accessable for you than for me, Oh and the link

Web://Web.flashpaq.com/release_news.phtml?t=3805

yeah that tells me that there has been additional files added, modified or deleted, but what did Superchips do? Add, modify, or delete? Personally I don't need to know that information but to some, the information is desired.
I don't hot rod the truck on a daily basis being that if the truck goes down my paycheck goes down, but there is a noticable difference in power ... correction, in the the delievery of power from pre surge to post surge file modifications. I will admit though I haven't been beatin on the open highway by any ford or chevy that are using other brands of chips. I aplaud Superchips on that note.

I also just updated the tuner and noticed a "seat of the pants" difference in power on the performance setting. I have access to a dyno and can have it checked, however I did not check it prior to the update. Is there a way to flash my programmer back to the original settings out of the box?

I will then have it dyno tested and be happy to share the pre-update and post update data with Superchips.

Please advise.

Brian

In October I asked about this and was told changes were made to lower emissions.
