ok heres the problem. recieved my new sc 3815 for my 04 ram hemi. i had the hypertech installed before so i reprogrammed it back to stock settings. started her up. ran fine. then followed the sc instructions, and right at the beginning where it says to turn key to on position. my sc tells me cannot detect ignition on. i tried this several times to make sure it wasnt me that screwed it up. still the same thing. if the hypertech works why wont the sc? PLEASE HELP!! ive been waiting for this mod for a while now and now that i finally got it...it doesnt work!! im so frustrated!

Make sure that the ignition is going as far forward as you can without turing the motor over.
If you have a aftermarket remote start or alarm then put the items in valet mode.
What is the build date and VIN number of the vehicle?
Have you updated the tuner on the website?

By the way I forgot to add one of your techs reps said that the Superchips works fine, that the problem had to be his truck,The Hypertech worked fine once and he took his truck in to get serviced(oil change) and returned to stock when he got his truck back he tried to install the Hypertech and it didnt work!,error60 or 6D with them,I told him stick with Superchips give them time they will help you ,but he aint listening to me

ron,
not sure of the vin since im at work but, its an 04 bought it in aug of 04 not sure of the build date. i do have an aftermarket alarm. no remote start. just a standard alarm. i will put it in valet mode and try that. spoke with derek and he said to send it in for a new one, so i will do that if the valet alarm thing doesnt work.

The VIN will help determine some things.
The most information you can give would help.
