Hi,

As posted in an other thread i had problems to programm my 300C Hemi with the SC3825 (got an Error Code).

Now let me tell you this story:

My friend and i have the same car (he as a limousine, i have a touring) both 2005, both hemi.

So we purchased together 2 Flashpaqs SC3825.

He could upgrade his car with his flashpaq, i couldn´t. So i thought maybe i have a 2007 communication allready on board and have to wait for the upgrade from superchips.

Yesterday i tried to programm my car with the Flashpaq of my friend and it worked !

So i thought my flashpaq is defective, but we compared the car-connectors of both flashpaqs and we found out that on his connector 2 pins are missing:

I took a photo of both connectors where you can see the difference:

Image

The S/N Number of the one with the 2 pins missing is:
1171689

The S/N Number of the one with all pins is:
1181525

I´m of course not 100% shure if this is really the cause why one Flashpaq works and the other don´t but this is the only noticable difference.

What i would like to know is:

- Does the flashpaq of my friend work becouse the 2 pins are missing
- If yes, can i cut the 2 pins of my flashpaq by myself
- If this is not the couse, how do i retourn my flashpaq to get a working one ?

Thanks,
Take care
Thomas

No the lack of pins is not an issue. Those pins are not used on the LX platform.

Can you log into Flashpaq.com once you do that we can further diagnosis it.

Thanks,

D

Sorry we just got back this morning. We were dodging hurricanes yesterday.

Please log on to flashpaq.com and send us a service ticket along with updating the tuner so we can get a read from your vehicle.

We will be able to figure the issue from there.
Ron

Hi Ron,

Thanks for your reply.

Sorry, i don´t get what you want me to do.

Can you pls. give me an instruction for dummies how i can send you a service ticket with the readings of my vehicle ??

Beside of that i don´t think that it has anything to do with my vehicle since the flashpaq of my friends works with my car. So i suggest that the problem is the flashpaq.

THanks,
Take care
Thomas

You want to update the tuner, they will take a read from the tuner.
You do not have to do anything special yet.

We are here. Sorry about the delay, I was out of the office for a long weekend. Chris should be contacting you again.

2006 300C Hemi. Just got the 3825, ensured all was updated via the Internet before setting up the tune. Got the G-36 error and the statement that the 2006 5.7 LX not supported....yet it has it on the box AND I updated via the internet before starting. The error prevents the read of the stock tune therefore I can not move forward. Submitted to support..awaiting response.
What code did you get?
