I updated the tuner and tried to reflash my car. It seemed to work but onthe test drive all of the and I mean all of the idiot lights came on and the car ould not leave 1st geat and revused to go above about 3200rpm.

I put the stock tune back on the car and all is fine.

What have I done wrong or what should i do to fix this?

Did you read the DTC's?
What were the diagnostic codes?
Do you have any aftermarket modules added to the car?

I forgot to check the codes I will do this when i get home.

I did recently add the NOESP module but it worked fine with my previous superchips tune and was NOT active when i tried to apply the latest tune to the car.

I am also having some troulbe with the updater program it wants to and tries to downlown two updates now and everytime it (the downloader) just hangs and will not bring up the flashpaq log in. THese related?

I would reinstall the tune and see how it runs.
If it does it again I would check the codes, and then return it to stock.
At that point we can say that the tune is what is bad. Not the install.
Not that the install was done wrong, but maybe a timing problem with the transfer between the ECM and TCM.

I would try the D/L again and make sure that the firewalls and blockers are allowing us as a good site. Also the routers have to be set up also if you have one.

Well the answer seemed to be the brute force method. Took three tries to get the tuner to update. Took it out to the car and read the codes, only had one for tthe NOESP mod read the car info read the stock tune the n tried to place my custom settings 91 on the computer. THree attempts later all is fine. No idea why it was stubborn but all seems to be well.

I guess next time I will wait a litttle longer before freaking out. THanks for the help and the great product it makes a night and day difference in the why the car performs.
