The new phones being sent out as of May 7th have Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)

My Store has been using the Linq Paks with Galaxy Tab II 7 inch tablets instead of the Archos becuase frankly its beneath us to sell something that low end.

And I can Retail a Full Tablet and a pak for the Same $700. It has been great for sales.

Dodges are giving me the most grief the 04-06 diesels speficially.

This appears to be a battery Hook and some other errors that are not communicating with blue tooth properly.

This problem now has units on back hold for sale as we won't sell until we can resolve this. Only 4 customers waiting but the list gets a little longer each week.

I also have a number of these vehicles running edge chips installed under the hood. Is there a way to get a tune for that setup downloaded to my account So I can update their packages?

Ok after an update to 4.0.3 we are able through a series of events get it to connect but this is way to technical for what we sold.

First Update to 4.0.3 Android
Second unpair your unit in the Androids BlueTooth Settings.
You SHOULD notice that it now Scans as SCI###### instead of the Mac Address which is all it read before.
Pair with The SCI##### device
RENAME THE DEVICE AFTER ITS PAIRED this forces a new file to be written containing connection information.
Now Open APP and hit menu whiles its opening and connect to you Renamed Device. If you still see the Mac Address/and or SCI##### then its still caching bad information.(We have no clue how to clear that cache the software update clears it for you but don't know how to manually do it.)
Now your Unit should read as normal

There is still a bug in this connection being smooth and as intended so that everytime a customer gets into truck it just works.

Now I am having problems with a 2012 chevy gas

I am suspecting that some of the units don't respond well to bluetooth 4.0 since is a lower power standard than 3.0 and lower.

Regardless even with all the updates I made in order to get the dodge to work getting the chevy to respond just didn't happen.

I was promised a call back some time ago on this matter and I haven't heard either way nor a response to this forum post.

The problem is related to creating a secure connection with the device. Not being able to create a PIN on the dongle and the tablet at the same time. This occures with devices running 3.0 bluetooth or higher.

At this point we can not support this device.
