I bought this tuner some time ago during my 2010 Jeep JK build. I've really done nothing with since. I started adjusting recently with some performance options I've added in the hopes of power. I noticed as I looked at the tuner info that it said vehicles that had no relation to my JK like Diesel, cab, and truck. Perhaps 4 Wheel Auto parts may have made a mistake or the performance is what i can expect and the chip is set correctly. The numbers the tuner has provided are as follows, The Tuner correctly identifies my Jeep though provides these numbers: Diesel DB VO9O, CAR DB V168, GAS TRUCK DB V402
Perhaps you can add some light or insight or reassure me that all is well.
URGENT-URGENT- leaving on an extended trip, thanks

pity that you havent recieved a reply yet, however if you have the flashpack 3875, then as far as I know it will be ok, its for a whole range of Jeeps, including the WJ hope this helps

The tuner is made on the same platform as the the gas, diesel, ex. Your DB would be considered gas truck. All is ok.

Thanks for the input, I've had know problems with tuner, no errors, and see some performance gains. I want to be positive that I am maximizing the tuner and getting the best performance. My 2010 JK runs super fast with Super chip, Cherry Bomb pro flow muffler from Rusty's off road. and 6"/9" K&N intake. the more I can get out of that 3.8 the better!!!! I just need to be reassured though.

Ron One last question for you. What is the result in day to day driving in Tow mode and 91 performance as it pertains to daily driving hills and straights, mpg etc? In Montana we are fortunate to have pure 91 octane with no ethanol . Would you recommend 93 performance considering we have pure 91 octane?

I can only recommend to use 93 octane on the 93 tune.
You can try it, I am concerned about PINGING or detonation. If you do hear it, you can switch back to the 91 tune.
