Ron I have been playing with my new LINQ for a few hours now and I've noticed a few things:

Performance meter doesn't work at all. I can't get it to show me anything. All #s on this screen stay at 0. I've tried hitting "On" and the green light on the &H is lit, tried with it off, tried "start recording" on both settings. Completed stops, neutral, park...nothing worked.

Fuel Economy PIDs don't work at all. I've tried them all and I can't seem to get any information from them.

Current Gear PID doesn't work

While tuning, for example on the Axle Gear Ratio screen. If you type in your ratio (mine is 5.13) and hit ok, when you hit "Axle Gear Ratio" again to validate that it took the value, it's set back to whatever value it was before on the slide bar. So I've noticed you can only change your gear ratio using the slide bar. This happened on all advanced settings and not just Gear Ratio.

In the DAQ whenever you go to change to a new PID, for example on Engine 1, you select the PID you want and then the DAQ comes back but it appears to be some random screen of the DAQ that is not any of my other screens but still displays various PID information. Then once I click on Engine 1, it does nothing...stays on that screen. But when I click on Engine 2 then go back to Engine 1, it displays my correct screen with my new PID.

I believe that is all that I have experienced so far but I will continue to play with it. I know this is a brand new product and in its infancy stage...hoping this info helps you guys out with ironing out the issues.

Info:
2009 Jeep Wrangler X
5.13 Gear Ratio
Tire size set to 33.5
Running 87 Octane tune
Vivid software on HTC Thunderbolt running Android 2.3.4

Please let me know if you need anything else.

We have a Jeep in house we can test, I will look into to this deeper.
As far as I know all the features are working.

Thanks Ron let me know what you find out or if you need anything from me. I don't mind being a tester for ya...I'm pretty technical and can help out with anything you might need.

There is a new update for the Vivid App.

Let's update the APP and see if this helps.

Ron

This is specific to the LINQ product, where you would update the APP through the app store.

Ron,

I updated the application on my Thunderbolt and now whenever I goto something like the mileage mentor or the DAQ, the app freezes on that particular screen and I have to close out of the app...then once I get out of the app my phone is all jacked up and I need to either restart it or try to turn the vivid app back on then close out again. I liked it before on the previous version!

Thanks man let me know when something changes and I will try it out again...right now the app is kinda useless. At least I'm tuned right now so I'm still getting the benefit of using the tune, I'm just weary of trying to re-tune.

Ron just for clarification:

The "app" itself doesn't freeze...just the data it's trying to provide. So I can navigate around screens but no information shows...that's what I meant by it freezing.

Ron I restored the previous version before this latest update and everything is back to what it was. The tuner is atleast somewhat usable now.

Ron do you have a case # or anything with this? What efforts are under way? Right now this thing is useless for it's marketed intent.
