My cortex reads "database error update tuner". Trying to update tuner so i can run on my 2012 superduty. But when trying to update, computer says check back for update!

Please post up your tuners serial number and or, give one of our techs a call and we can fix it over the phone.

The serial number would be 7 Digits.

Ok, I have applied a change to your tuners serial number.

Update your tuner once. let it finish and then close the APP.

Reopen it and run a 2nd update. (Will take a few minutes on this update)

This should fix it.

did update, and went to install tune. Goes through everything normal, then before allowing me to tune, the programer reads vehicle not on file.

plugged in to see if any updates available. on computer screen it reads "Exception was encountered, Please contact customer care"

Any ideas?

How new is the truck?
HAs it been to a dealer lately?

The issue is that the tuning in your truck is newer than our database, the product copied the infor and has uploaded it to us. We are going to need to write a program for the new calibration. This can take 7-10 working days to support.

truck has 1000km on it, all me. hasnt been to dealer since i picked it up. So why does it say on website tunes available?

We support the vehicle, but due to the new reflashes that Ford has come out with for the truck, the new calibration your truck has has to be written.

Vehicles can have 20-50 or more vehicle calibrations, due to how new the truck is, is why the calibration is different from all the trucks we have tuned.
