I have talked to anthony this morning regarding my issue and i try to update my tuner 1950 cortex it has been prompting me database error must update tuner my serial number is 1500138 I own a 2010 ford F-150 5.4l K&N air filter and Cat back exhaust and even after purchasing the CAI file I still have a knock at low RPM.. I was wondering if they have found and update for this problem.

Are you still getting the DB error?
How long has the CAI been on the truck?
How many miles are on the truck?
What grade of fuel are we running? What do you do with the truck>? Daily driver? Towing?

How long has the CAI been on the truck?
How many miles are on the truck?
What grade of fuel are we running? What do you do with the truck>? Daily driver? Towing?

I received a call today telling me to try to update unit and all should be good. but when i update it says the same thing Database Error! Please Update tuner.
I had put the cold air on the truck at approximately 30000KM
I currently have 100000km on it. I burn 87 octane fuel I do a lot of HIghway miles and often tow my 18Ft all enclosed alluminum trailer. but when I pull the trailer I return the trucks settings back to Stock. because I don't burn 91 Octane fuel to use the tow package.
My case file number for the Database Error is 92829 and as mentioned received a call stating that the problem should be resolved but it still don't work.
Ron if you could pass this information on to the calibrators that would be helpfull.
Tried updating it again at 7:47pm and still says that my tuner is up to date and to safely remove tuner.

Ok, let us get the DB error deal fixed first.
I sent this back over to them.
Then we will get to the original problem, of drivability.

Ron I talked to someone this morning and the did something at your end they told me to try an update the tuner again. I tried it this afternoon and update worked fine installed it in my truck. but have not tried diving the truck yet.
I will let you know about the knock. if it is still there or not.
