After install a couple of settings I found this.

I get better gas Mileage with the 93 Performance tune than the Mileage Saver tune.
why is that?

Also, I get better gas mileage when I drive in "4th" compared to "D".
Is it safe to drive in "4th" and why does "4th" gear give me better mileage than normal drive gear for normal driving?

How are we gauging the mileage?

Are we averaging over a few tanks of fuel?

What type of driving conditions are you in? Mountains, flat land, ect.

From the Trucks' onboard computer

Are we averaging over a few tanks of fuel?
I've tried both approaches

What type of driving conditions are you in? Mountains, flat land, ect.
flat land, mostly city and highway driving

To make more mileage ,the more power that the engine makes, the less you need to be into the throttle to achieve the same speeds. This is all based on the driving habits also.

4th vs. O.D. for mileage

My guess would be that the RPMs are in a sweet spot for mileage with the OD locked out.
Could be because of different tire heigth than stock that is matching the RPM at the right place in the power band for the driving that you do.

It is not entended with the tuning, becuase we do not have any control over the transmission.
