I tried to reset my Ford PSD to the tow mode with the Superchips 1950 tuner & when it was updating it gave me a code of G-00. I have reset it to stock.
Any ideas???
Tom

G-00 is a hardware failure. Must return for evaluation
I would recommend to call in a get a RMA for a repair to the tuner. Please have your proof of purchase with you when you call in.

Ron, I reset the truck back to stock. I went to the truck today, & it took the tire size change, speed limit change with no problem........... It's running fine.

It is a hardware failure code.
It can be intermitten. I would recommend to be safe and have it sent in, I am worried it may fail at a wrong time, and render the truck undrivable.

It might be just a fluke. If it is working then, I guess leave well alone.
Usually when you get the code and it is done from there.

Do you think that since I had the trickle charger on the batteries this could have caused it? I did notice that one of the chargers had the switch on "10 amp" charge, it did boost the batteries to 14.4 volts.............. just throwing it out there as a possible problem.
Thanks for the support.

Voltage spike, can make the tuner do weird things, that could be plausable.
Trickle charge is fine. 10amp is a bit much.
