IM interested in the new vivid programmer.
I found that its available for the Jeep Grand Cherokee 2005 with Hemi.
I would like to buy it without the tablet, only the programmer and the app for android.
Is it possible ? How much ? I only find price for the programmer with the tablet.
Also, do you offer a trade program if I buy the vivid and I own the flashpaq 3875 ?

We are still working out the APP's, their are some many different phones to try it on.
We currently do not have the Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep available for sale. It is going to be a few more weeks, hopefully.
I am not sure that we will offer a trade in for the new models.

Ron,
I had Superchips....sold it to try the BullyDog and now want to come back to Superchips because you guys have excellent support and loved working with you. I have a HTC Thunderbolt and would love to see this software on my Android phone and have it capable of using your programming on my 09 JK Unlimited. I'm pretty geeky so if you guys need a tester I am more than willing to assist and would love to come back to the Superchips family.
If you don't need a tester...any thoughts on when an app might be available for Android? Having the ability to have a unit I can take with me (and not leave in the car) is ideal for having a top and doors off. Please let me know!

ditto what scott said, if you want a tester for a 2007 JKU auto trans Jeep wrangler as well. I'm running a HTC Rezound at the moment and can also test on a Motorola DROID, HTC Incredible, and Motorola Xoom. Would really like to see it on the Xoom.

I spoke with someone from customer service on the phone about the app just this last week - I guess they're having some issues and said it would be "a couple months" before it was available. This was the deciding factor on if I was waiting for the App or buying the full unit with the device.
I did buy the Vivid Paq w/ the android device, but would muuuuch rather use my phone if the program becomes available for download. ( I even overnighted it on Amazon for the additional $3.99 lol )
Please toss me on the list, as I already have the Paq, but would love to have the program/software for my android phone.

Awesome! I don't know what the guy I was talking to on your tech # was thinking then... ? I would much rather use my phone just with the touch-screen differences. Thats all!

Just installed on my Samsung Galaxy SII from the Android market! I can't wait to test it!!!! Just one question: To connect the app to the veichle is sufficent any BT enabled OBD interface or a specific one is needed ?

02 and older trucks do not have a very stable communications from the PCM.
They can not always do more than one thing at a time.
