Hi Ron, Figure I poste this on the forum anyway so that we can communicate easier regarding to my problem with superchip not having file for my jeep. As I am currently working abroad in China, I will not be reachable on my US phone number. Please email me or leave message on the forum with any news on the solution. Thanks Ron. Just got an email today say I can go ahead and update my programmer. Updating now, and will give it a try this afternoon (China Time) When I return from work. I will let you know the result. Thank you for your help man.

Hi Ron,
Good news, Downloaded the update and all is working fine now. Thank you for your help and please relay my thanks to the engineers that helped me with the update.
Quick question, now that I can tune my jeep, others in our jeep club in China might want to invest in Superchips as well. (We got over 3000 members here) If they purchase the flashpaq, do they need to wait for update like I did or they can just use the update I got today? Our jeep consists mainly wranglers 08-11 and Grand Cherokee 07-11. Thanks.

I will let them know.
We have to be general when I say it could need a update or could not.
It will have to be determined when we tune the vehicle. Depending on what calibration codes the Jeeps, have will determine if it will tune out of the box or need a program written.

just wondering, what would happen if I use the 93 tune, but using 91 fuel or even 87 fuel?

Each tune has a minimum octane, if you go below that minimum, the engine will have "detonation" Pinging under acceleration.
