So, I updated and when I installed the SC I cannot get the paddle hold to take on my 5.7L 300c. Why is this happening now and can I revert to version 1.04 to get it back or what do I need to do.

Cmon you guys at Flashpaq and Superchips, there are a tonne of us experiencing a boatload of issues that are not being addressed in a timely manner. I have twice submitted tickets for my recent issue and have now brought it public, and will bring it to the forums for help next...

~ The ** setting issues
~ Paddle hold no longer working after 1.04
~ All sorts of errors

There a realatively a lot of issues with 1.06. Unless you just gotta have data acquistion (which in itself is only good for 4 parameters and 1 log file ), then don't get it - really not worth it at all. They will fix the problems eventually.

Paddle hold doesn't work after 1.04, but I don't use it. The only thing it is good for is bouncing off the rev limiter. Paddle kick still holds the gear unless you are at WOT and redline. I wish they would trade that feature for another log file.

The errors during download and tuning are multiplying lately. Most you can get through if you do the exact same thing more than once. The update errors on the website seem to be caused by the site itself (namely the PHP server), it has been down more times than Monica in the last 2 weeks. Vehicle errors seem to be just communication errors, it is hit or miss. They need to fine tune the protocol.

So on my list of wants:
-Fix erratic idle.
-Decent data acquisition. They have a start, but only the first step.
-Fix display **.
-Work on the MDS crossover - really harsh.

Is there a way to go back to 1.04? If I connect my SC and update using the top update, will that do it?

If not, can someone from here please chime in with a fix? I don't need all this extra sh*t, I need a working tuner the way it was when I bought it...

I asked, the answer is no. Its considered an "upgrade".
Like asking Microsoft for NT back - "why would I want it?" Because it works, thats why.

The problem with this one is that he had the tranny flashed with a "Special" as they say, program from DCX, which has caused him loose some options that the tuner had.

He is buying a new TCM with old firmware to get back the options that he lost.

The new TCM has not changed anything and DCX assured me that it is the same TCM as my stock one. It has not be flashed with the SRT8 flash like the previous one.

So you did get it in and you have reloaded the tune?

If so what is the new TCM code?
What was the old?

The old ended in AK the new ends in AJ. I do not have the full code, but no, it is not working. According to the dealer, it should as this is a stock 5.7L TCM...
