Home page says Vivid is coming out Summer 2011............... it is Summer!!!!
Is it possible that we will see a program available on the Vivid before the 3875?

I'm starting to suspect they are having a difficult time creating a better tune than the factory has already provided with the new computer.

Actually, they are having the same problem everyone else who doesn't have 2011 support available is having. It isn't a question of developing a better tune. It's a question of reversing the new encryption in 2011. Best anyone can do now is wait, because no one else has 2011 support.

I'm an information systems security professional, I deal with encryption all the time. if chrysler is using a hashing algorithm like AES Superchips will NEVER be able to crack it unless someone at chrysler coughs up the key. If I can encrypt a server hard drive so that the FBI couldn't read it I'm sure chrysler could do the same thing. If superchips and others are truly unable to get into the computer due to encryption there may NEVER be a Jeep tune.
Ron, it's not fair to your customers to keep us in the dark, time for an honest answer ??

If we thought we could not make a program, we surely would not string customers along.
With every new change to the vehicle that are implied we have to start from the ground up. We take the time to do it right.
It is a little harder than the previous years to crack the combonation, but we will get it, and get it right.
