Just a quick question before I program for the EGR:
Does anything have to be done mechanically before programming the vehicle for EGR management?
Thanks in advance!

I would not recommend to electronically delete it without physically deleting it from the engine.

Look into the EGR blocking plates, especially if your rig is still under the 100k warranty.
I've had great luck with mine.

I just did the block off plates and am now getting an error code for the EGR temperature sensor which is located on top of the EGR cooler.
Will the Superchips programmer turn this code off?

If you have the 1856 tuner just do the EGR delete in the tuner, the error will go away.
I have the block off plates from Cobbs, been running them for 20k this way, no errors, no problems.
