I have a Max Micro Tuner 3705 (98.5 - 2002 Dodge (*) that erased my high idle! I paid $80 for the dealer to turn it on! Why isn't there a fix for this? Will Superchips pay for a new (* engine when this one gets damaged because their product erased an important factory setting?

I can maybe see it turning it off for the performance settings, but when I return to STOCK, it ain't back to STOCK!

Can I at least get $80 vouchers for me to go back to dealer each time I need it? Seriously, why isn't this part of your product description, and how are you going to correct it for me? I paid good money for this box that is useless.

Is there any answer to this question???? I am glad I thought to do some research before going to the dealership to have this enabled on my truck and also owning one of these programmers.

Is there an update or something?

$80 paid to have qualified dealership technicians perform an authorized procedure, and then your tuner removes what was paid to have done????? I thought we consumers were buying a quality product and supporting your company. Blacksahara has a legitimate case for small claims court. No doubt the judge will side in his favor.

The programmer will do the High idle, but when you have it installed from the dealer, our tuning will over write this. We can not change this.

Ron, he was talking about the Max Micro Tuner 3705, not the FlashPaq. I have a 3705 also. The older, longer one, not the newer square one. There is no mention in the instructions to warn that it would disable factory authorized high idle 3 cylinder warm up. Your company may want to revise its literature to reflect this fact. On both the older 3705 or newer Flashpaq. Put out updates or news bulletins or whatever. If this was a known issue before hand and not disclosed, liability is on Superchips. If it was an oversight, then it is understandable, but efforts should have been made to let the consumer know about it, warning of the irreversible damage it would do. Had I known this before hand, I would have not bought your product either.
