First I want to thank SuperChips for the great job they did helping me log in for program updates. Was having a problem, contacted SC and the next day Problem Resolve. My truck has improved just a little bit on mpg. Was getting 16 mpg before, after SC Cortex Programmer raised to 17-17.5 mpg running on xs economy, was hoping for better. I have the 4.7. with K&N Cold Air Intake, custom duels done locally but done very well. I am going to put Gibson Headers on next but want to know if I can expect any increase in MPG. I am going for all out gas mileage and not really interested in burning the tires off of my truck, love the sound and the performance I have now. Any help from members or Staff here for increase gas mileage would be greatly appreciated. Great product but Customer Service is Outstanding. Gunner15

Welcome to Superchip's forum!!
I don't know if headers will help in fuel mileage, but they will sound great. Shorty headers or longs?
Ron

stay away from the headers, if you have custom duals, did the installer give you a larger y-pipe or is it still the factory pipe? if its still the restrictive factory pipe, forget the headers, spend the 75.00 and get the larger gibson y-pipe and keep the factory manifolds, everyone glots about headers, but they wont work up to their potential without a larger y-pipe
