I have a 3805 for my 2004 dodge ram diesel. The problem I got is that on the performance tune the truck surges like crazy. I did what Ron @ SC suggested read more on forum about this problem. I never new so many other people out there was having the same problem. So I have done what forum members have suggested by contacting Ron @ SC and his answer: do more research on the forum. NICE that helps me out large! Now a couple of more nice emails to Ron and still no answer, what great customer service. I am a company owner and I know if I treated my customers like that Id be going 3434 up. I will never buy another SC product ever. Looks like ill be buying TST or Smarty for my trucks and I am going to get one of our heavy loaders with a shot of my company logo, get my camera tape it getting run over and put it on u-tube. I wouldn't even dare to sell something that doesn't work or have any customer service when p o s dosen't work THANKS RON! PS I dont usally write letters like this but im @ off. Ive got a couple of thousand invested in their p o s on various trucks. Too bad its on my truck that its doing this too.

Did you update the tuner as I asked?
Your tuner has original software from 2007, update the tuner and try out the current software. Then I can proceed with a resolution.

Since Ron hasnt gotten back to me either I contacted someone else at SC.
He is currently looking into it but has responded to every message I have sent him. This is the most help so far that I have gotten. He currently has an engineer looking in to the issue. So far this is what he has shared with me.
"I just wanted to update you on my conversation with our Dodge engineer about your issue.
Here are a few things they pointed out about the surge issue in some vehicles:
" From what we have observed it could be that the accelerator position sensor might be acting up. Sometimes you can get away with cleaning it with contact cleaner, but usally you have to just replace them.
Another hard part related to surge is fuel delivery. Surging rail pressure is 95% of the time the result of a sticky/sticking FCA (fuel control actuator). When it sticks it will over shoot its commanded pressure from the ecu so it'll back the pressure way down and then undershoot it so you get a few 1000 psi "surge" as it over compensates. Installing bigger injectors will complicate this because they use more fuel so the pressure ramping curves can be steeper.
The vehicles we have observed had the issue stock and the tuning by nature increased the existing issue to a more noticeable level. Replacement of one or two of those parts mentioned found to be malfunctioning resolved the surge issue"
I have asked if one of the tech's has the ability to help determine the root of the issue related to those parts listed above. I will let you know the minute I get their response.
His Name"
Hope this helps any I will keep posting what I hear from him

This has been said this before in MY posts.
Followed by suggestions to start off with.

CTD03 wrote: MY ISSUE is it DOES NOT have this when STOCK. Only when I program the truck. Actually it did do it stock. He brought your truck done here for testing, my calibrator worked with him for a few hours. Finding out that the transmission is coming in and out of lockup. (torque converter) Ron

Fuel pressure tested? We have made a few suggestions, what is your feedback on the questions? We have 10's of thousands of (* trucks from 03-07 5.9L's running on the streets for going on 8+years, IF this were a Superchips issue, that tuner would be the MOST returned tuner in history, if all the trucks acted like this.

Its probally not related to the tuner, 5.9L (* engine had problems with the alternator wires not being shielded properly take some tin foil and wrap the alternator wires down about 2 to 3 foot. should take care of your problem.( ASE master tec)
