I have a 2001 Ford F350 dually 7.3L powerstroke. After updating tuner to ver 233, I don't seem to have as much of that 'wow' power and acceleration. Is this expected.? Do I have to go back and load stock then reload the performance program? Tuner SN 1345216.
Thanks.

Welcome to Superchip's forum!

I would suggest to go back to stock for 30-50 miles and then reload the tuning, if you still feel the same way about this I will dig into it.

Ron

Ron,
I've had to do a transmission rebuild on my 2001 f350 7.3l. Shop installed a Transgo Tugger kit. It really hits hard now especially going into 2nd gear when I have the performance setting on the Superchips. Is there any way to change the tuner settings to make it work better? It seems to be over emphasizing the shift points.
Thanks.

Hi Ron,
Thanks for the quick response. Tuner is Part No. 1805. I will upgrade it on the web site and make sure it is up to date tonight.
Thanks, Tom

Ron,
Is it worth considering upgrading to a Cortex tuner? I'm just reading the website.
Does it have the ability to individually adjust the trans pressure? (if that's what needs to be done)
Thanks, Tom

No, none of our tuners have the ability for end users to adjust the trans line pressure.

I have sent it over to the calibrator to see if we can do this for you.

Ok.
Return the truck back to the stock settings, update the tuner and try the tuning out on the truck.
