Just hooked up the 2950 to my G8. I'll tell you.. The software for whatever reason did not like my computer. It kept "not responding"
I have a brand new Windows 7 64 bit computer with pleanty of power, and I downloaded the lastest software. Even with no firewalls on and security settings totally open I was having issues. I would register my account, and it would freeze. I finally went to the website , registered , reset my password a few times and then got the software to load.
The whole process of connecting to the car was as easy as it can get, and the gains are noticeable !
My only question is.. On the easy update software, it says I have the g8 Rotofab tune package installed, yet it wasn't available on my tune list on the cortex, the best one available was the 93 tune. any ideas ?
What I also noticed was there is a drop down box on the top that says vehicle 1 , ( my g8) and then vehicle 2 (which is blank)
I did buy this unit used, does this mean it has been unlocked to use with 2 cars?

If you want to add an additional vehicle, you would have to buy the G02 tuning (extra $199).
The CAI tunes will not show up, unless the vehicle is tuned while updating.
Post up the tuners serial number and I will check.

Ron, now its coming up like i have to re-purchase the rotofab tune.
I thought it was already purchased on this tuner.

I'm running into this same issue...here is the question that I posted on G8Board.com for clarity: The issue that I'm having is I am unable to locate and load the Roto-Fab tune. The previous owner told me he had already purchased and used the Roto-Fab tune when he had the unit and reset his car to the stock tune and shipped the unit unlocked as he should have. When I went to load the tune into my car my only options were the following: 93 Perf 91 Perf 89 Octane Stock Stock with options I went online and created a new Superchips user account and found the upgrade page to see about purchasing the Roto-Fab tune for myself. The Roto-Fab tune option was blacked out and said that it was already purchased and installed on my particular tuner box. I was able to load the 91 Perf tune with no problem and am using that one now, so I know the tuner box works. Not sure if I have the same issue as the first poster, but here is my serial number: 1485825. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

oK, Rotofab CAi is deleted, you can update and purchase it now

Ron Just did the update and purchased the Roto-Fab tune...finished the install a few minutes ago, and it seems to finally like me. Thanks for your help!
