I bought the flashpaq 1825 and installed the 87 octane tune. Did fine the first day but thought the RPMS were a little low. The next day I noticed the check engine light was on. The car stalled on me at the gas station, so I check the computer for a code and it said P0506 Idle ctrl sys RPM lower than expected. PLease help

I just got me the flashpaq programmer today and plugged it up to my car and put a perfromance tune and my engine light also came on,I checked and the tuner said the rpm are running lower than usual. The car was perfect before I plugged this programmer in ,how will it go back to normal?

Welcome to Superchip's Forum!!

What are the modifications to the car?
Does it run right when you remove the tuning?
What grade of fuel are you running?
What was the diagnostic code? Did you try to erase the code and did the problem persist?

Ron

Thanks for the welcome.
I put the 93 octane tune on it and the rpm is reading real low at idle and the car turns off a lot now. I returned it back to stock but the check engine light is still on and the rpm meter is still really low.
When I use the programmer to read the problem it says rpm level low
I don't know what to do now

Let's try a hard reset to see if it helps.
Remove the positive battery terminal and put your foot on the brake for 30 secs, with the headlights turned on. Reconnect the battery terminal and start the car.
