I have drag raced my 2005 standard cab shortbed ram 6 or 7 times.
Both with and without a Leer cap and tailgate, spare tire etc. About 300lbs.
difference. With the 91 tune and all my work stuff in addition to the cap etc. The truck is faster w/all that weight and the 91 tune than it was with the stock tune and less weight. Only bad weather is preventing me from taking off all the stuff and burning rubber. I am VERY impressed with my 3815 tuner and I've barely scratched the surface with the data acq. stuff.

mntycrlo1, what kind of times you running nowadays with the 3815? What settings work best for you. I have a quad cab, so I know what you mean about weight. With three kids, the quad cab worked for me. Just installed the 3815 and like it already! :mrgreen:
