When attempting to program my car I receive an error stating "OEMFLEX tuning required, please contact Superchips..."
As i understand it, OEMflex is if you are trying to program multiple cars with the same programmer. I am not trying to do this. I have programmed my car already in the past, but was attempting to download the latest tune.
I believe this may have happened because when i was downloading the latest update, the application locked/froze up and I had to restart the process. It appeared to complete successfully, but ever since the OEMFLEX error occurs.
I contacted support and they told me they are aware of the issue, but don't have a fix for it, call back next week.
I searched this forum and see a topic from Dec. 2009 with the same issue but no answer.
looking for help.

What is the tuners serial number?

Can I have you reupdate the tuner and let me know, the engineers came back with this response.

The engineers asked you to do the reupdate as of then.

Thanks! the latest update fixed my issue. I was able to get the latest greatest tune onto my car. Thanks for the help. I love the internet
