I just purchased a Superchips Micotuner 2716 for my 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3 V8. I want to know what would be the best settings to set it at for the most gains in fuel mileage as well as power. Thanks

Welcome to Superchip's forum!!

PErf mode will be the best for power.
87 octane mode will give you some extra power, and less for fuel.

As far as the shift points and the shift pressure, what should I set those at? Is there anything that can be upgraded on the 2716 version that I have?

I always recommend to use the SC presets.

That model of tuner is very old, it was a single year programmer for 2006.
There are no upgrades we can do to that model. The only thing I can offer is a $150 trade value towards a newer flashpaq tuner. This product has a mileage tune internet update, and data acquisition features that are not offered on your model.

Did you physically measure the tires? Did you play around with the gear settings? If you did put them at STOCK.

How are you gauging the speedo being off?

I personally measured the tire from the ground to the highest point of the tire and it measured 30.5" I have all the settings at "SC" settings Do I need to change something to get it accurate. I was on the side of a nissan altima with factory rims and tires, we were side by side with the cruise control set and I was showing 64mph and he was showing 68mph?

You can round the numbers down to get it closer, I would drop it .50" and try it there.
