Hi, just signing in to say howdy. I'm going to be switching tuners very soon, (current ds),
just wondering which would be better for my '04, 3865 or cortex??? It's an everyday driver, with hardly any wot needs. Ahh, if I only knew then what I know now.

Good choice.
Either tuner will work (3865 or 3950). The biggest difference between the two is, Cortex offers a two year power train warranty through Superchips. Tuning is the same.
Superchips is famous for their transmission tuning, which IMO is the best in the business.
You'll enjoy improved shifting and performance. There's a quick tune function to start off with or you can go right to advance tuning. All up to you.

I thought I did my homework and went with the other 1, but I was wrong. I guess all the power in the world doesn't matter if you can't get it to the wheels. At least your promises and advertisement seem to be coming to fruition. With the '04 TCM being a one off year, I'm surprised anyone is doing anything. Got to get the fundage up, then it's off to the races, so to speak. Should have listened to Sil, oh well lesson learned!!
