To anyone on this board that I may have offened with my comment of the SC programmer being BS. I am truly sorry and I spoke before I commented, NOT realizing that my statement also insults those of you that have spent your hard earned $$$ on the SC and feel that you have purchased a quality product.

Once again I am sorry.

I found out that I have another two weeks that I can “test drive” the programmer.

I do believe that there is some merit in this product and I am not to sure what I maybe doing wrong. I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO KEEP THIS PROGRAMMER and if I can find a benefit to me to have it I would like to buy something similar for my CTD.

So if anyone has any advice for me I would really apprieciate it, so far I have.

Applied the 1.07 update and I have programmed the 91 oct performance program. I filled up with almost 30 gallans of premium, and noticed lower MPG not much but lower. The truck was driven by my wife for a week she doesn't have a heavy foot. I then programmed the truck for 87 eco, I did notice a difference in performance, just wasn't as peppy. This could have been the gas though, still not much better MPG.

What to try next? And what should I really expect from the SC programmer?

Will I only notice better performance at WOT in all of the programs?

Maybe my expectations are too high?

1.Does the truck have any aftermarket parts added?
2.Where do you drive the most? Interstate? in town?
3.Does the truck have a different size tire than came factory?

Feedback from our customers say that the best gains are on open road constant throttle speed driving. Around the town driving you may stay stock or 1+ depending on your driving habits.

I know these programs can be fun in the begining, but if you drive the truck the same way you did before you bought the product all things being the same you are more likely to gain fuel economy.

Their are people who are using the 87 octane that have given feeback of 1+ MPG
If you would like to discuss this more you can email me directly or call.
Thanks for taking the time to apologize.
Looking forward to helping out.
Ron

Hey Ron, first off thanks for answering back. One thing for sure SuperChips customer service is really on point. I really appricate that.

To answer your questions.

The only mods to the truck that are power train related are k/n full intake and a magnaflow catback exhaust.

Truck is driven weekly, about 20 miles in city driving and 150 miles highway. Never with a heavy foot.

It is a 4x4 quadcab which still has the factory 20inch rims/tires with factory 3.92 w/ limited slip rear end. I have a six inch lift and 35's that will go on it sometime at the end of the month.

What prorgram are you using? 87, perf?
How long have you had the product?
Are you in a area that has blend fuel?
What kind of terrain are you encountering? Mountains, flat land, hilly?

Have you a base # on you stock MPG?
What are you getting with the tune you use?

What was your intention with the product? mileage, perf, towing?
Ron
