We are close to releasing the EXTREME tune and these limiters are raised higher with some other things. when i put the over drive off im hitting over 3200 what ever .HURRY HURRY!! WAY above redline, also they said the transmission had some pessure increases, i have had people say there is no increase and finally they said the rpm limiter was 3450 i think. you just posted that the max rpms are 3200, but mine arent. thats fine but why the discrepencies? when can we get some truth to the answers? its just been one thing after another and i know everyone would rather be told whats really going on instead of all this new stuff popping up all the time. again i love my SC and wouldnt trade it, but i just want to know whats going on, and if your call takers are misleading folks like myself, maybe its time for some product training. thanks

tx_fireman31 has a good point. i have been very pleased with my superchips until now. the power is great, and the service had been great. i have a 06 (* with 37 inch tires and a manual tranny, stock 3:73 gears. this speed limiter has been an ongoing issue, and i believe i even started this topic. my truck shuts off at 108mph at 2800rpm. THAT IS A SPEED LIMITER! since no one would give a straight answer on this forum i called a tech guy at superchips who talked in circles and basically told me my truck did not have enough power to go faster than 108mph, as far as the rev limiter thing that they keep bringing up, my truck stock would not rev any more than 3200 in any gear with the manual tranny. after install of superchips, it will rev to 34-3500 no problem in any gear. yet the tech guy at superchips could not understand this and said that my truck was out of gears. OUT OF GEARS AT 2800 rpm???? a straight answer on this issue would really be nice.

You guys are not seeing what I am writing.........
Let me say this again. On a stock truck. No mods, no tuning, no boxes, no bigger tires, or different gears.
All stock. The rpm limiter is 3200 rpms, period!
You can hold a gear and it will rev past 3200 but the power is severely cut on a stock truck with No mods, no tuning, no boxes, no bigger tires, or different gears.
On some calibrations that were released we RAISED this rpm limiter to a higher point to SHIFT at a higher rpm. Some have a STOCK rpm limiter because of a LONG HANG time shifting issue. {3-4 th. gear shift}
Again, we are getting close to releasing the EXTREME TUNE and these limiters are raised.
With the extreme tune will you ever reach 160 mph?
Don't know. It all depends on what the MAXIMUM RPM is raised to and IF you reach 160 first or the maximum raised value {rpm}.

im sorry i still dont understand why one guy can drive up to 120 mph and some can only go to 108. could you please elaberate. also i might not want the extreme tune until i build my tranny yet still might want to go above 108. please explain

This function was the only reason I purchased the 3805 programmer, what a piece of crap. I use two other programmers and a Banks product that are all better products for fueling IMO. W/ all the false advertising you guys might want to figure this one out! If you want to go over 108, get larger tires, and dont calibrate your speedo(I've hit 121 by GPS) or pull fuses, or turn your key to the start position while driving w/ pedal to the metal.

Pull fuses or not calibrate the tire height.
Gear ratios and tire height are the major limits of the engine's rpm in final gear.

Ron, YOu are kidding, right? Yeah, Superchips advised us to buy their product if we want the speed limiter removed(am I wrong?). Well it does not work now does it.
What in GOD's name does engine's rpm in final gear have to do w/ the REMOVAL of the TOP SPEED LIMITER. Do I need to post examples of your advertisements on this?
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one @ about this, I would however like to see you own up to the error and make it right! It is now kinda obvious that the top speed limiting is a function involving the speedometer, since disabling the speedo allows us to go faster (by methods not advised by Superchips)

Nevermind, I'm beating a dead horse. I've just hated patiently watching as people across the country keep learning that their SUPERCHIPS Flashpaq #3805 does not do what Superchips claims it will. And all we get from Superchips is a reply from RON like

Wow it certainly looks like I've opened up quite a can of worms here since starting this topic. Although I love the performance of my 3805 I like everyonelse here is just sick of the talking in circles. How about some straight answers. If you look at my first question to open this topic and Ron's responses it just doesn't make sense how wrong they are.

The speedo will still work up to 140mph. We are rewriting the program to do exactly what we want it to do.
We can even recalibrate the computer to recognize a different size tire.
You would just measure from the ground tothe top of the tire within 1/4" increments and select the size when tuning for a correction that even the dealer could not do.

Either the company is filled w/ a bunch of liars or nobody has a clue as to what the product actually does. Why does the (rpm llimiter) seem to be the answer for the (Top Speed Limiter) problem. The only thing I asked for is what I've paid for. What would you guys at Superchips do if you purchased something and it was not as it was represented? Please think about that question before you answer. I happen to be someone who has a large influence over the publics decision about trying your product. I am one half of car talk show team which is broadcast throughout 38 states and on the internet. I would love nothing more than to praise your product to millions of consumers, however in good faith I can not until these problems are fixed. I am thankful that we have have this forum to discuss our gripes with your company, but if this problem does not get resolved in the near future I will have no choice but to share my test results and forum chat with the rest of the consumers who are considering purchasing one of your products. Please do not take this as a threat because it is not meant to come across as one. Everybody here just wants what they were promised.
