auto, i mainly drive in perf unless im towing. real annoying almost like the motor is missing, but when i go off cruise it immediately clears up. took a long road trip yesterday, 275 miles, with tuner not installed and it didnt stutter once. other than this, this is the best power adder i've ever used!!!!!

According to the Dodge calibrators the trucks surge onthe stock program on steady state on our dyno when testing here.
This is a common dodge issue that we can do to help it.
Is this the only thing done to the truck? Other power boxes?

The trucks have this issue with the stock programming, we do not have a fix for the the enhanced feel that the tuning is amplifiying.

My truck does not have issues with surging in stock mode.
After installing the SC programing and trying performance mode it was a mess. Surging and loss of power. No fix? What do I do now?

Loss of power? You did not see a increase of 282ftlbs of torque at the rear wheels? It felt less than stock power?
If you put the truck on a dyno, and watch the rpms, and mph the trucks do have a surge from factory, they even surge at idle.
Please post your tuners serial number.
Has the tuner ever been updated?

I talked to Ryan on your support team about it the first week of November 2007. See if he still has my Emails. The problem started after about 8 miles or so after I went up a hill. The RPMs zoomed way up to 2500. Like I had no control over it. The pulsing or surging started shortly after that. I got the RPM's to go down after slowing down but it didn't seem to want to pick up any speed again. It just was not working right. I pulled off the road and put the stock program back on the vehicle. I took off down the road with no issues. I did have the tunner updated before I tried it. Maybe I don't exactly know what this surging issue is.
My tuner serial number is 1271883.
I'm not really looking for a hot rod. I'm just looking for better fuel mileage.
