Hi there
I just was wondering if there is a way to turn of the annoying seatbelt "ding"?
And what setting is the most fuel efficient.
Thanks Erik

I am sorry our products do not offer this option.

Typically if you are not towing, the highest performance setting usually yeilds your best mileage, as long as you are driving with MPG's in mind.

yes there is a way with a series of actions. I have disabled mine and I cant remember exactly how i did it. Mostly a series of key on/off and buckle/unbuckle mainly. This should be in your owners manual but I will tell you if you own a dodge you must disable the auto door lock first or else it will never work.

if memory serves you get in, turn the key on without starting, fasten and unfasten the seat belt a minimum of 3 times, (i did 5); leave the seatbelt fastened, shut the key off and turn it back on. Can somebody confirm my list?

I will check my manual if you dont have one. I do know I did it 5 times before realizing that the auto door lock(if available) had to be disabled first. But yes you are on the right track.
