G'day all, first post here. Before buying my Flashpaq, my speedo was 2mph fast when compared with my tomtom (which I am assuming is correct b/c of the satelites). For example, speedo says 70, tomtom says 68. This was consistent at all speeds.
Same thing with the programs that came with the tuner.
Just downloaded the update and LOVE the extra juice! With the update, however, my speedo is still fast by 2mph under 50, up to 70 it is fast 3-5mph. Haven't had enough open road to take it past 70 yet.
Anyone else encounter this? Any suggestions?
I have tried changing the tire size by bracketing in 1/4 in increments, and this is the closest I can get.
Not a huge problem, just curious.

Factory speedos can be off between 3-5%.

You are measuring from the ground to the top of the tire within 1/4" increaments.?
Try going a 1/4 higher and or lower.
Ron

I'm just bracketing using the increments on the tuner under tire size.

The tech info on my tires say they are 33.5"
My Tape measure says more like 33"
I meessed around with my tire diameter ant finally set it at 32" to get the speedo to read correctly ( Measured with GPS on flat, straight, level highway )

Ron,
Does this effect the tune at all or just the speedometer reading??
