Will the module not change the tow program to performance without hav eing to reset the computer to stock?

My handheld just said it is not good practice to tow while in performance, and asked for continue but would never tlet me change to performance.

Am i doing something wrong?

You do not have to go back to stock to move the tuning from one program to another.
Just go in and pick you tune and then program it from there.

Ron,
Is the Tow program for the Fashpaq Programed to be used with the Dodge 48re Trans in the Tow/Haul Mode ????? If it was not it seems to me that one would either increase or duplicate to some extent the same power increases or functions. Which is it ???
Thanx,
Charlie

Your tow mode has to do specifically with the trans, our tow mode has to do with the engine. So you can use the trucks tow/haul mode when using our tuning, no problem.

I would be curious to know what the benefits/detriments to having the Tow/Haul transmission set with the Flashpaq Performance Tow engine setting. It would seem sensible that having both set make sense, but I don't know the inner workings of both features to know if having both enabled makes good sense.

Thanks,

Chris

IIRC the new 68rfe in tow/haul locks the converter in 3rd, it also assists braking by downshifting.

Think of the tow tune as towing-friendly. it's not like plugging an extension cord into itself ya know! :)
