Unplug the tuner and pause for 10secs, and the plug it back in.
Sounds like you are not getting a solid internet connection.
Make sure that on the software you are seeing a serial number and a part number on the PC screen the entire time it is connected. If either one is gone, you have lost your connection.
The software is set to reset after 15mins of connection.
Check the firewalls and virus blockers, and either lower them or add us as a trusted site.
All else fails then, I would try a different internet connection.
