Instead up buying another tuner, can my existing flashpaq 3855 be upgraded to the 3856 Race Tune? I'd like to have the ability to pick and choose which program to use among the 2 tuners?

The 3855 is not going to be able to have that option added to it, it is a off the shelf street use tuner.

The race tuner is a Offroad only programmer that you have to sign a waiver to use.

You can use it as a trade in, towards the race tuner.

Will this race tune be compatible with the 98-02 dodge (* 24valve, with VP44 injector pump? The flaspaq 3855(if not mistaken)fits a large range of truck models... would this race tune have a increase in horsepower then the flashpaqs 60hp on the 98-02? seems like most tuner companies have forgotten about us VP44 guys, would be great to see Superchips take the lead over Smarty on the 1998-2002 dodge (*... Oh and next time your driving home or looking threw a diesel mag, count how many VP44 powered 24valves are out there looking for an better programmer. Thanks
