Howdy-
I have a 2006 Dodge 1 Ton MegaCab and recently installed a Westach dual boost/EGT gauge. I am seeing 16lbs max. I haven't monitored it while towing, but assume it would still peak to the same level. I have an Airaid cold air intake with the MIT, a Aero Turbine muffler and the SC on performance. I read some where that SC doesn't mess with boost. Is this true? Is ~16lbs normal? If so, how do I increase the boost? If not, is there something I should troubleshoot?
Thanks.

All 2005-2007 5.9Ltr. (* has an Electronic wastegate control.
16 psi is low. Stock should be around 32-35 psi. Tuned you should see around 40-42 psi.
Where is the boost gauge hooked up at?
We tapped ours right into the GREY metal intake tube. Works great!

Thanks for the quick reply. I have used a hollow bolt and r/r one from the manifold closest to the valve cover.

Thanks. I removed a bolt in front of (radiator side) the GREY metal intake tube; on the valve cover side. I think it is the furthest one out (closest to radiator).

I just thought that I would drop a note and let you know that my boost issue ended up being a bad gauge. With the SC on performance, at WOT, I am seeing a jump to 40psi, and then it drop and hold at 32psi. I haven't checked the stock settings or perf/tow yet, but at least I am seeing the correct boost now. As soon as I install the Quadzilla boost fooler, I should be able to lower my EGT's with more boost, but will probably not see an increase in power at the wheel.
