Anybody had sucessful stacking?

Superchips mode,
Chip stacked with,
setting it is on,
mods you have done to the truck,
year of truck.

any of that would be great information.

I think i read on another form that there was a sucessful stacking with a banks pda, but i dont remeber if that was for a (* or not.

The FlashPaq in its current state adds very little pressure, as it's primarily timing/duration, so any pressure type module would make a great addition to the FlashPaq. Just be sure to monitor your EGT's when doing so.

I'm currently stacking with a Banks PowerPDA, which is timing/pressure, and the combo seems to really work well together.

Thanks!

what are these valve bodies and converters you speak of? haha, got a manual, just got to upgrade the clutch.

as for you mr. Ron @ Superchips. why would you not warranty your product? In no way would a chip ever effect the programming of the ecm or effect the superchips tuner itself, does it? i guess i dont see how a warranty issue would ever arise. please if i am inccorect in any way feel free to bash on me and set me straight :D .

I am anxious to see what comes out as far as user customizing of the program. that should be interesting.

Here are examples of no warranty situation.

1.Using brand -X in line box and trying to program your vehicle and the communications is lost because of the box and the trucks computer is damaged. We do not cover any expenses for repair.
Without brand-x stacked:
We will do our best to have your vehicles computer recovered and tuner repaired at our expense.

2. Using brand-X box in conjuction with the SC and have a drivability issue and asking us to recalibrate according to the your issues. Without having custom programming made.
3. Damage that is claimed as being caused by our product.

Now when the custom tuning becomes available you can have your Sc program made to work within all of your modifications.

Ron

Running two types of performance enhancers...

i.e.

A flash Tuner and in inline module. Neither knows the other is present.

End result....Stacking.

Ok,

While we don't warranty our product or guarantee it to play well with others we have done some testing with other aftermarket products. What megabomb said is correct we are only adjusting pressure a small amount in our "performance" file. While we do have full control over pressure we have elected to keep that for future "goodies" (Extreme ). To give you some examples that we have briefly looked into: MSD digital propane injection system, some of the Inline Devices ("Edge Juice" type). There are more to come as time permits. (gotta get the Extreme tune done first :D I don’t want you guys to beat me up any more.. ) Like megabomb said the biggest thing to watch is E.G.T.'s. We strive to have the Safest E.G.T.'s on the market and still make more POWER.... Now the down side is... as mveronese said the weak link in the (* is the transmission. In our 2005 (* we have replaced the Torque converter, Transmission, Flex plate, input shaft and fuel system. So there are some weak links that you will also have to watch out for as you start staking multiple aftermarket products and increasing torque on your truck. So we aren't saying you can’t do in... Just don’t be surprised when you start breaking stuff...

Hey Jason,

Thanks for all of the info, it's refreshing to actually hear from someone who's working on the (* tuner. Could you give us any type of ETA on the extreme tune so we can stop beating up on you for awhile?

Also, if you do add pressure to the extreme tune can you clue us in to how much so we can plan our stacking accordingly.

Thanks!

No Problem megabomb,

As long as we stay on our current track (witch is going really well) I should have the Extreme tune done in about 2 months (give or take). We are bustin tail to make this thing rock... As far as the fuel pressure is related I will try and keep you guys updated on what we decide to go with for pressure. I will tell you that the factorty PCM can only handle a certin amount of pressure before it sets that pesky M.I.L. (check engine light). we have a way around it but we want to make sure that we aren't sending injectors into outerspace beause fuel rail pressure it too high. Sooooooo.... Stay tuned..8)

Jason,
After seeing all the superchips bashing on Dieseltruckresource.com, it is refreshing to see a possible upgrade for our flashpaq for mostly STOCK trucks that will bump up the performance a bit more on the pressure side, but still be reasonable enough to not pick up parts off the highway, or trannys along the way!

Keep up the good work and I look forward to the results on my 06!
