ok quick question. what are the reasons behind not towing in the performance setting? if i have gauges and can monitor my egts, boost and trans temp, what the problem. does superchip incorporate that as a way to protect the business from people that dont have the means to monitor what the motors doing? i also dont tow real heavy. a boat thats maybe 6-7 thousand. it just catches alot of wind!!

thanks

brett

The biggest concern is heat.
1400 degrees is what we try to limit it to.
Not everyone has a way to monitor functions inside the motor,
like EGT's.
You can use the "perf" setting for towing. You just have to monitor
those EGT's!
