I raced a QC/SB GMC Sierra 2500HD with the 6-speed auto tranny, shift kit, turbo-back straight pipes (no cats, no mufflers), and chip (PPE Accelerator?). My only mod is the "Performance Tune" I installed with my Flaspaq programmer. First race I had him the whole time, from a standing start all the way up to 175km/h; I really started to pull hard above 100km/h. Second race was ended abruptly thanks to the weak independent front suspension setup on the GM. He launched, then nearly side-swiped me as his tie-rod bent and pointed one wheel sideways while the other was straight. It was a scary moment, which made me appreciate the solid front axle on my Ram 3500HD. A word of advice for owners of GM trucks: If you plan on making some real power, upgrade your tie-rods!!! This is the third mod'd GM TD truck I've seen break the exact same part.

i also have a 06 dodge ram 2500, 8 inch lift, 38 inch tires, superchips performance tune, exaust, air intake, and a 6 speed manual. my buddy has a 05 ford 6.0 liter with same lift and tires, banks 6 gun stacked with a programmer and turbo mods. that ford will boil those 38 inch tires like no other. he raced it against my dodge from a 10 mph roll, and was not even close, i was 5 truck lengths in front by the time we passed the person who said go. i am impressed with superchips programmer, just waiting for the extreme setting!
