Do these include the same tunes for the 2006 Ram. I know for a fact that there is a problem with the 3805 on performance mode with many trucks. When on that program it surges and does not do this on tow, stock or any of the other 2 programmers I have tried. Is the performance mode on the 3805 the same on the other tuners or is a different tune. Has the surge issue been a problem on them as well?

3805 and 3855 have the same tuning, option and power levels.
When you update a 3805, you are getting the same databases as a 3855.
I have not heard of surging on these trucks for years.

I just don't think there are many guys running the superchips on (* trucks any longer. If you go to any of the forums it is rare to see superchips as the programmer people are running and most that had the surge have never had it fixed so they probably run tow mode only. So what about the Cortex? The only reason I am still dealing with Superchips is because I don't like the smoke of other tuners. You do understand the violent superchips surge that is not felt with other tuners is a superchips issue and not just the truck. If other tuners can increase power and not have violent surge then how is it the truck?

Actually the Dodge diesel tuners are one of our biggest sellers.
Did the truck surge when it was tuned before?
