I just got a new Flahpaq 3805. Last week i downloaded all the updates then installed it set it to towing as we were just leaving on a 2500 mile trip with trailer in tow.

Several times during the trip while climbing small hills at about 2500 RPM the truck would start surging. I had never experienced that before this. Otherwise I ddn't notice big differences except that we appear to be getting about 1 MPG better than before the Falshpaq.

Truck is completely stock. No intake or exhaust.

So what do I do about the surging?

Please post your VIN and tuners serial number and we will check out the files.

I have a 2003 5.9 and am also seeing surging when have any type of hard acceleration. I just downloaded from the site last week and if anything it seems to have made the surging start at an even lesser throttle position. IS there a fix for this? I just filed my second ticket on this problem. I also have a problem with an error code when trying to log any times or distances in the advanced section of the programmer, but I'll post this on the appropriate area.

Thanks

I also have a surging issue with my 2005 5.9L. What is the outcome of your research. Is there a fix?

As we know and many of you do see, these trucks surge on the stock tuning.

Make sure that the tuner is up to date, we have made our best efforts on making these tunes with the least amount we can adjust.

Make sure that your fuel filter is up to date and the air filter is clean.

I too have this problem. And have had it for almost a year and nothing has fixed it.

Ron please help us. Can I bring it by the SC shop? Im right down the street.

I think the problem is the HP gains on Perf. tune is too much maybe for the trans causing this surging issue.
