My truck came stock with 20" wheels. When I program my vehicle should I pick stock tires or should I pick bigger tires. If I measure from the ground to the top of the tire its about 33". However, these are stock tires and BG Goodrich Rugged Trail Radials. They are the same as the stock tires that came on the truck.

I would measure them physcially and then use this input.

So measure from the ground to the top of the tire and enter the info into the tuner? I assume you put the numerical (33 inches) into the tuner and it calibrates it that way? I haven't played with the tire size info much not wanting it to try and change my speedometer or anything.
Does it mess the speedometer if you change the tire size? Again mine came factory with 20" wheels making from total height from the ground to the top of the tires 33 inches.

If your speedometer is correct, then I would not adjust for the tires.
That is the end result after changing for the tires, speedo/ odometer recalibrated and shift points and pattens closer to the stock points.

My speedo is correct as they are factory wheels and tires. I changed the setting last night and plan to test out the speedo comparded to my GPS to see if it changed anything.
So are you saying that the tire size adjustment in the tuner is simply to correct the speedo if its off??? It doesn't change the actual tuning of the engine, etc.

I adjusted the tuner to the correct tire height and checked the speedo to my GPS this morning and its didn't change anything. I assume that since the tires are factory even though they are 33" high ford calibrated the speedo from the factory to adjust for it.
By changing tire height in the tuner it doesn't change transmission shift points or anything does it.

In a round about way it will.
On a vehicle with a speedo that is not correct, the shift pattern will be offsetted. Correcting the speedo, will correct shift points, and odometer.
