I just installed the hi perf tune on a 2003 f250 7.3 auto. When I take off from a stand still, (WOT) a couple of times I get code P0603 Internal Ctrl Mod KAM Error.
The trans also seems to want to shift in and out of overdrive a few times when you stay in the throttle. Any ideas?

P0603 is a error that means that the computer on the truck is in a relearn process.

KAM stands for Keep Alive Memory.

To us this is a nothing code, because it will come up for the first 30 key cycles of the vehicle after tuning, this code does not through a light.

I would suggest to take a look at the back of the trucks PCM beside the parking brake on the truck. There is a port that is there from factory, and a "Chip" can be added to this place. If there is one then I would remove the chip and put tape over the port. Then retune the truck to a power level and test.

* If you do not see a chip in the port hanging off the box, then pop the cover off of the port and check to see if you just see gold terminals. If you do it is not chipped.

Ron
