Wasnt sure if I posted it here but since it is Flashpaq 3815 Specific I figured you guys need to know.
I programmed the truck to 87 tune ok.
When I tried to do the advanced option I had to have the key on but the engine off so then I was able to go into it ..... when I chose:
knock sensor 1
knock sensor 2
knock retard
in man press
then I started the engine then went to view it and the unit started logging data then locked up ... I let it sit there for a minute or two and still got no response so I unplugged the flashpaq.
Now when I try to go into the advanced data logging with the engine on or just the key on the error message I am getting is: Comm Error check Ensure Ignition is on
Flashpaq Info: 3815 V1.09 Database: 063 041207
If you want the serial number I will give it to you as well.
Thanks
If I need to reupdate the tuner to fix this please let me know.

If you cant do that from a downloaded file then I can drive it up to you guys to get the old file put back in my tuner .... please let me know

alot of us are getting that comm error message when trying to go into advanced data acq. Try reading DTC's first, then getting out of that and going into the adv. data screens. Thats how I have to do it for advanced data to work.

well I did do a trouble ticket tonight for the issue with the advanced data acq. but decided to re-download to the tuner but used the standard tuner software without any data acqusition stuff so we will see how this one works out.

Thanks for the Fast Reply Ron.

Matt
