I'm new to the forum and have never owned a Superchips programmer.

I have an '08 Dakota Laramie with the 4.7L V8/FlexFuel engine. It has
a lot of pep already in my opinion (302 HP / 329 ft lb TQ) but like most
of you guys I'm always looking for more.

I would like to know, before I take the plunge, what kind of gains I
can realistically expect for my particular vehicle, any problems anyone
has encountered, or other experiences.

I have to say this is the most professional and informative forum I have visited in a long time. Keep up the good work.

2008 4.7L Dakota Flex fuel
87 Perf mode= 46hp and 51ftlbs of torque at the wheels
91 perf mode = 50hp and 55ftlbs
93 Perf mode = 61hp and 66ftlbs

Firmer shifts, better throttle sensitivity, and raised shift points based on throttle position.
Raises Rev limiter and speed limiter, and will recalibrate for tire hieght change.
The tuner reads and clears DTC's (diagnostic trouble codes).
