I had this posted in the veh section but got no responce there so I moved it.
Hey its been along time since I was on the site. I have not done an update on my tuner for at least a year or more. I have a 2006 TBSS (Trailblazer SS), is there any new updates I need for the 2815? I have been runing with the performance tune (customized to my specs) in the truck for over a year, is that ok for that long of a period or is there something I should do? If there is anything new please let me know.

Gary, we have not released any new tuning for the TBSS trucks.

If I remember the tuner will not adjust for a cai for this veh is that correct? I have wanted to put a K & N cai on it but have held off. Can you give me some insite on this Ron?

why do you always ask for SN numbers after we ask for a CAI tune. We never hear back after we give it to you.

I have an 07 TBSS with a K&N CAI and a 2815 superchip programmer. The CAI was first then the Superchip. Everything works fine. I've been running this for about 2 1/2 years. recently installed a Borla cat back and have noticed a little better throttle response plus better milage. On a 3600 mile round trip to Nebraska and back to CA averged 20.2 mpg at 75-80 mph.

Hey Tom thanks for the info. I have a Borla muffler (only) but would like to put duals on. Thats pretty good mileage from a SS I have not done a long enough run to get a true highway test. Still holding out on the CAI but with what you say it sounds like its working with the tuner anyway. I still love the truck its getting close to 4 yrs old and have approx 42000 miles on it.

We had found that we could not successfully add this option to the 3 &H tuners. The memory in them can not hold this option.
We were however able to do this option in the newer 5 &H tuners.

So I now have a tuner that is junk. If I want to put a CAI on the TBSS I have to buy a new SC tuner or another brand that will allow me to do this? Is that what your telling me?
