I bought a flashpaq for my 04 Dodge Ram 5.7 last week. This was my first tuner. I put it on and it said it read the stock program. When I tried to start the truck it was dead. Of course it was a Friday night, I could not get anything working all weekend as I kept getting "Cannot detect ignition".
I called Superchips Monday morning and tried different updates and such but still could not get it working. SO I had to remove the PCM and mail it to Superchips with the tuner.
Now I get a phone call telling me to tow it to the dealership and get a new PCM installed.
Customer service thus far has been excellent but I'm worried to try this again on my vehicle or what happens later down the road when the warranty runs out on the tuner?
It's been a week without my truck now I have to tow it to a dealership and watch it sit there.

Sorry about your troubles and it's nice customer service is taking care of you as well. Superchips is very reliable product. Can something happen now and then with a PCM revision, sure but that's really not the norm. I had a 2004 and ran my Superchips for 4 years and never had an issue. When you get the new PCM installed, tune it. You should be fine.
