Bootloader error

Hello all, I get the Bootloader error every time I log in to update my Cortex 2950 SN1374177. I have tried to install the latest version of the updater program, Vista x64 beta, Win 32 version .50 and cannot get past this error. I have not flashed my vehicle yet since I read the instructions and tried to update my device before flashing. I have a 09 G8 GT and was looking for the latest update before flashing. Any help out there?
