I confirmed my thoughts last night that my programmer has done nothing to improve throttle response, acceleration, or torque management with the newest version. I'm not sure what happened but my truck runs the same as stock on the 87 tune.

Last night I was driving 65 on a flat highway against a heavy wind, maybe 25-35 mph wind. I drove 12 miles and the truck had to downshift 3 or 4 times during the drive to keep it at 65 with cruise control on. It NEVER had this problem before.

I drive a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.7L using the 87 tune with some of the settings increased but not all the way.

It no longer holds first gear like it used to either. I'm not sure if the truck is accepting the tune and not responding or if the tune changed causing the issue.

I am still disappointed with the tuner every since I got the latest update.

Please give one of our techs a call directly and we will walk through the install with you.

Is the truck modified?

It is not common for people to say that their Hemi is still feeling stock.

I know, like I said in another post, I have had this 3815 for years and only noticed this after I updated the tuner to the latest version of everything. I de-programed last night for comparison and it felt absolutely no different than when the tune was installed.

Anytime you go back to stock. The computer will use the highest "default" setting. When the sensors report back to the PCM for "adjustments" like fuel and spark knock retard. The performance will start to back down.

We have not de-tuned any of the Hemi files, if anything. Making them better.

Like I said, I know what it should feel like when working correctly and it is not.

My best performance ever was version 1.07

Can I have it back?

Any way to "reset" the tuner?

Is there any chance it is showing as programming my truck but it not take?
