I purchased a 2008 F-350 Dually 4X4 with the 6.4 Liter Powerstroke. The Truck was used and I purchased it with 8000 miles on it and 37X12.50R17 are the tires that came on it. The rear end is 3.73 geared. I was getting 12 miles to the Gallon on the Highway. I installed the Flashpaq in Economy mode, uped my speed limiter and adjusted the Transmission shift points. This has been in use for 5 months as my wife was driving it a bit while I was in Iraq. We went on a trip to Amarillo Best I could get on the Highway was 9.7 MPG. I get 8.2 in town now. When I purchased the flaspaq it did not have the option to adjust my speed ometer. Do they now have that I can down load? Do you have any idea why my fuel mileage is so bad. I know the Tires are not on my side but. Son of a Whiskey this 8 and 9 miles to the gallon is retarded. Have you got any Ideas.
Thanks Tony

I recommend to take the tuning out of the truck to see what the trucks base mileage is now.
As for the tire height, we are still working on that ability.
Which tune are you running? Perf, Perf Tow, and tranmission only.

OK I returned the vehicle to stock. I am taking a small trip over to Grapevine today so maybe I will see a difference.I was using the performance tune on the engine and the transmission change just made the transmission shift harder. I hope this helps to answer your question.
Any thing you can tell me will make me feel better about this product.
Thanks Tony

I returned it to stock, drove it the hour and a half and got 10.4 mpg. Then I put in the program didnot install the transmission tow program and it jumped up to 10.5 from the 9.2. So basically I gained 1 10th of a gallon. Do you have any more ideas. Are the 08 4x4 Dually's all getting this bad mileage?
Thanks
Tony

Tony, driving for a couple of hours are not enough for the computer on the truck to relearn your driving habits and new fuel trims. Every time you reprogram the truck you reset the memory.
So my suggestion is to drive on one mode for at least a tank or 2 to see the over all mileage based on your driving habits and conditions.
On both settings, Stock and Performance.
